Animator

JOB DESCRIPTION

In this position, the candidate will be responsible for the creative animation delivery our clients design requirements. The ideal candidate must have a strong ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline sensitive, detail-driven environment.
Location:
  • Office based – Cairo, Egypt
Reporting To:
  • Creative Director / Head of Media
Responsible For:
  • Managing all animation projects across a variety of sectors. (Full Service Agency)
Contractual Status:
  • Full time, Sunday to Thursday, 8:30am to 5:30pm
Role summary:
  • Developing excellent animated videos. Infographic and motion graphic videos, Your work will give life to storylines and characters in films, games, or videos. Animators possess a creative eye and artistic aptitude. They can easily turn a script or a concept into an impressive computer-generated animation. To excel in this role, you must be highly skilled in CGI software and storytelling.
Skills Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree or certificate in computer animation, fine arts, graphic design, or related field is preferable.
  • Proven experience as an Animator, Motion designer
  • More education, experience, or proficiency with specific animation software platforms may be preferred.
  • Portfolio.
  • Proficient in CGI and animation software
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and computer skills.
  • Understanding of animation, storytelling, and character development techniques.
  • Attention to detail, adaptability, and receptiveness to feedback and direction.
  • Ability to work independently or with a team to develop animations and solve problems.
Key Responsibilities And Main Tasks And Activities:
  • Read scripts and storylines to understand animation requirements
  • Prepare presentations with raw designs to customers
  • Create models, drawings and illustrations by hand or electronically
  • Join images with background graphics and special effects
  • Ensure synchronization of frames and audio
  • Participate in editing process
  • Direct the work of animation assistants
  • Collaborate with the creative team insuring delivering a high quality animated work
  • Work closely with the Head of Media and the Creative Director
